I cannot overstate how good this fic is! It's just! I mean! LISTEN! It gripped me from the summary to the most recent chapter. It is VERY good that I saved it for later when I was browsing A03 in the middle of the night because I WOULD have read it all then. It's not TOO ridiculously long for that yet, especially since I read pretty fast, but STILL. I'm REALLY glad I waited until I woke up, since I tend to forget things I read that late at night, and forgetting this story would have been a CRIME!

That, uh. Didn't really explain anything about it, did it? LISTEN! I don't know how to explain it, I think this is actually my favorite IZ fic I've read? Like ever? I mean it's not finished yet, but I've read a LOT of IZ fic, and I've never really been hooked by one so quickly before. ANYway, rambling over, I don't know why I like it so much, u can look at the summary to see if it sounds interesting to you, and I'll say it DEFINITLY lives up to the summary's vibe so far!(Although, do take note of the Slow Build tag, it's NOT lying. I'm still not completly sure what the 'main' plot is, but I am INTRIGUED anyway)

This is a fun little series exploring the idea of Dib talking to the Tallest during the four days Zim was on that frycook planet, it has a really interesting premise! I've only read the first one so far, but there are four in the series that I'm looking forward to reading.

An absolutley phenomenal animatic set to Candy Store from the Heathers musical, not much else to say about it. It's 2 minutes long go watch it.

Fic-The Power of Friendship(And This Gun I Found!) by llusRostromegalus

This is an AMAZING fic! I hadn't read Yu-gi-oh fanfic in years when I saw content for this fic on Tumblr and fell in love! Oddly enough I don't have much to actually say about this one. It's funny and the characters interactions and world-building are to die for, AND the gang gets to act like the feral teenagers they were always meant to be, what else could you ask for?

Jonhnny the Homicidal Maniac(JTHM)

I am obsessed with this story, it's SO good! I just can't get over this fic, it sticks in my head and I'm so excited to see where it goes from here. It gets pretty heavy at times, but well, it IS a Johnny fic. Funnily enough, I didn't really have an opinion on Edgar before reading this and ReSWAN(Which is my next fic rec, under this) and now I love him. Funny how stories can affect your opinion like that.

Fic-Song Without a Name(Reprise) by LadyYateXel

Rating: T

This fic, from what I understand, is THE Johnny fic. It's super popular in the fandom and with good reason! It's a re-write of the original SWAN(Hence the Reprise), which was also insanely popular, and, from what I've heard, is a massive improvement. I came in too late to read the original SWAN but I trust the author on that front.(And respect them enough to heed their wishes and not go looking for it) I'm very much hoping the sequels to SWAN also get rewritten someday! I await it paitently.

That wasn't really a review was it? Just a history. LISTEN. I honestly don't know how to explain how much I love this fic! That might have something to do with the fact that I'm writing this at 2 in the morning though. It's just. VERY GOOD. I'm gonna stop writing things down now, for my own safety.

Jak and Daxter

Fic-Introspective Hero by Weiila

Rating: M

This is one of the first long fics I remember reading (this and a shadow the hedghog fic, which I wish i remembered the name of. . .). It's a Jaxter story(Jak and Daxter as a romantic pairing) And it's SO good! I still haven't. . .finished it. Mostly because it wasn't finished the first time I read it and now I have some sort of block to continuing. But! Listen! The worldbuilding is fantastic, the characterization is great, and there are even a few REALLY GOOD Ocs! Go read it! And maybe bring me back a summary so I can feel like I finished it.(This is a joke, do not actually do that. I WILL finish it eventually, this I swear!)

Fic-Sons of Spargus series by ArdentAspen2

This is a short little Dadmas (Dad Damas) series, a one-shot and one short 7 chapter fic, and honestly I think a few of the tags explain it better than I ever could. One is "Damas accidentally dadding his own son" another is, "Daxter gets parented and he doesn't know what to do with that" and the final one is, "Damas finds out he adopted his own kid"

So yeah, it's got Damas basically adopting Jak, realizing he's actually Mar, AND Daxter also gets to be part of the family for once instead of being shoved out of focus like a lot of other fics of it's persuasion.

Sonic the Hedgehog

Video-SA2 Real time fan dub games by Snapcube and friends

Basically everyone's already seen these videos, but I was once a person who had NOT seen them, so I'm writing about them here

So these are comedy improv videos where a group of people get together and live re-dub video games! They are the FUNNIEST THINGS I've ever seen, it's absolutley ridiculous! Especially since some of the cast haven't even played the game that they're dubbing, so they're dubbing blind.

I've linked the whole playlist here. They've also done more games than just SA2! SA2 was just the first one, and as far as I'm aware the one that's been memed the most(The screenshot with Eggman in the background and a caption saying "What are you two FUCKING talking about" comes to mind, as well as Alfred as Eggman's classic "I've come to make an announcement" rant)

They've done other Sonic games, like Riders(You've probably seen the screenshot of Sonic with the caption "Whoa, he's bisexual, I didn't know that!") as well as non-Sonic games like Spider-man(PS4 I think? I haven't really played any Spider-man games) and Until Dawn(Which is their newest one and is amazing!)
